Abba, Father, you love each of us as your children. We have too often rejected that love and gotten lost in our own concerns. Thank you for never giving up on us, and for continuing to show us the way to you. We pray for all those in prisons across the country. We ask your protection and guidance, and that these babes in faith will be nurtured by our efforts and by all those who hear your call to serve. We also ask your protection of their families, their parents and children, who are hurting and lost. Heal their broken hearts with your steadfast love. We ask that you guide all of our steps in your meaning and purpose for our lives. Help us to be open to your voice, and to respond to your call.
